Many years ago, while walking through a field of lavender...My husband and I were inspired by the calm, peaceful feeling we experienced.  There we were, in the midst of millions of amethyst colored blossoms swaying in the breeze.  The color, fragrance and the tranquility is what caught our hearts and convinced us that we wanted a place just like that.  We 've been lavender growers ever since.  Five years ago we decided to move to Utah from our home on the Pacific coast, so that we could live closer to our grandchildren.  It was then, we moved to our new home on the hill, or should I say, a very rocky slope overlooking the ski resort!  We weren't sure if our lavender dream would continue to grow here, but this unique herb loved our state's sunny, dry weather, and so began the creation of Lavender Hill.  In many aspects we have found lavender gardening to be very therapeutic.  It truly has become our "mid summers night dream."  
     

Our youngest daughter Carli, is very knowledgable about gardening. Over the years, she has worked at several lavender farms and nurseries. As the Production Manager of Lavender Hill, she is amazing!
